Hey lee first of just wont to say the normal stuff I'm 5'4  21 from nsw and you aw some man your a freak Ive got a picture of you on my wall and i look at it every day before i got the gym anyway enough of the smoke blowing I was wondering what you thought of Marcus ambrose he use to drive v8 supercars for stone brothers racing here in aus i don't know if you can follow it from the states but he is racing in the states now doing nascar just wondering if you have any opinions on him.

From what i have seen he is a good driver I watch the V8 cars onm the fox sports net over here when they are one.I like all racing.

Lee, is American drag racing popular at all in Australia? What kind of following does NASCAR have? I would imagine F1 is big in Australia?

thanks for the reply man, nascar has basicly no following in australia I think they show the odd race on face fox but its defantly not a weeke to week thing. Yer f1 is pretty big now we have the race in melbourne and mark webber but v8s supercars are still the biggest motorsport in australia nothin like the sound of a v8 go the HOLDENS.

You only see Nascar on the news on sports editions that show the crashes. Drivers dying usually makes a 10 second mention, ie blink and you missed it.

F1 is huge but thats cos a bunch of posers that want to be "seen" come out of the woodwork when its on every year, and then bugger off afterwards. v8's are popular. Bathurst gets a lot of interest.

Anyways, congrats Lee. Keep em guessing.

yes, congrats! David looked awesome but it was in the bag for Lee. The Pics of Dave and Lee in MD after the contest are wicked! David says he was a little nervous with Lee driving the car like a nascar....what happened to Lee Priest always obeying all traffic laws  ;) haha good job on the show lee.

Do you remember back in 91-92 when the Skyline GTR dominated the V8s? They changed the rules after this so that only V8s could race thus the V8 supercar series was born. It wasn't really fair to have the technologically advanced GTR racing against the dinosaur Holdens and Fords.
