How should we do it? Not paying debt? Sanctions?

They need to be held responsible one way or another.

Agreed.  China must be held accountable.   At worst this virus escaped from a Chinese Bio Lab.  At best it was a result of China's deplorable standards for hygiene and treatment of animals.   China is now in a position to benefit from their sins by buying foreign companies on the cheap and marking up critical items in the supply chain.

Making China accountable starts with the consumer.  Read labels.  Wherever possible do not buy from China.  Certainly, never buy any food product from China.   Do not buy from Chinese owned companies.   Samsung, Sony, etc all manufacture in China but the profits go offshore to the corporate HQ.  Do not buy from Western companies owned by China, e.g. Volvo.

Do not vote Democrat.  The selling out to China peaked in the Obama years.   Unfettered, unrestricted globalism got us in this mess.  Pressure your local political representatives.  Critical supply chains must be moved back to the US.  Huwai, must not be allowed to take a critical roll in American telecom infrastructure. We must reset our relationship with China.

Biden or Sanders do not have the stomach for this.

Well said very true^

Let's hope the virus turns the tide against China and gets some of these things more actively happening.

It is a PR disaster of epic proportions for China, they know it...

By not buying anything made in China. The action has to come directly from the consumer.

Are you going to lead by example?

This is not a partisan issue.  Both parties and America as a whole are guilty for feeding this chinese beast.  Sure Trump tried to talk tough about China but he didn't even have the balls to go on stage and blame them and instead had Pence do it.

Taiwanese are the original Chinese (non communist Chinese) They are far more tolerable than the mainland Chinese that you're describing as they did not go through the "Chinese cultural revolution” aka brainwashing.
taiwan also had influences from the west and japan

If you want to punish China just don't purchase Chinese goods. You'll soon learn that can't be done. China is soon to be the new world power. The US Empire is coming to an end. China's is just beginning.

They have a shitload of US dollars that we've given them over 40 years for cheap shit.  They can buy the majority in almost every US company and own this country.

Yes and this will come to fruition. America is not nearly as smart as it believes it is.

I propose that we send America's most dangerous bio weapon to infect as many Chinese as possible:
