The US marriage rate has plunged to its lowest level in history with 6.5 couples getting married per every 1,000 people in 2018.  This is the lowest level recorded by the government since it started to record marriage data in 1867

'Millennials are in peak marriage years, their 20s and 30s, and it’s still dropping,' report author Sally Curtin said.
