Hammies - Need a program to bring them up

I need a great programm to bring up my lagging Hammies. so i am currently doing stiff legged deadlifts & Lying leg curls. should i add seated leg curls?

Train your hamstrings first in your workout when you are fresh.

3 sets of each exercise you mentioned should be more than enough. 8-12 reps per set.

SDL but not going too heavy. That shifts it to lower back too easily. I tried lying and seated leg curls for years with little to show for it. Changed to SDLs but with a weight where I felt it only in my hamstrings and I have added 2" in about 1.5-2 years.

seated leg curls i never really feel. I think you´re correct on the stiff Legged Deadlifts. will go for 15 reps & squeeze like fuck

Wide stance (semi sumo) stiff legged deadlifts

Wider stance stiff legged dead lifts with dumbbells, but you go down to left foot, down to center, down to right foot, down to center, repeat

One leg ham curls supersetted with one leg stiff deads with a dumbbell.

I certainly feel seated leg curls and lyign leg curls

I think people dont do them as serious as they could, if people treated it the way they do squats they might get a better result

Bend over further at the waist when you’re working at the gloryhole. It worked wonders for Go4It.

Give hamstrings their own workout.  Do something like the following;

Seated ham curl 6 working sets
Leg press (feet wide, toes off the pad drive through heels) 5-6 working sets
Lying hamstring curl 3 sets, last set being 3x drop with partials to failure
Stiff leg deadlift 4 working sets

Not sure what you’re doing nutrition wise but id increase caloric intake on this day.  a fast acting slin pre/post workout will certainly help , not much maybe 4ius and work up to 6-8 both pre/post.  This along with something like HBCD 75-100g during your workout. 

I did something similar to this before one of my shows.  My legs blew UP but I was also crawling out of the gym every leg workout

I found no benefit from starting SDLs from the floor. I often do them in a power rack with the pins set just below my shins. Also, I never stand up completely straight on each rep. Your hamstrings will burn like crazy if you do that!

Ok thanks, I always come all the way up tensing my erectors, glutes but yeah keeping tension also makes sense if hammies are a priority.

Those old time bodybuilders like Grimek were very athletic compared to today's crew.

yes i have seen old pictures with this. Looks very dangerous though. I go to about mid shin position. As pointed out by Humble Narcissist they were indeed much more athletic back in the day. Even until Tom Platz but i don´t want to injure myself. rip my balls or something  ;D
