Just look at the ages of people who died, its people who go out the least, after 7 weeks of all the healthy young people spreading it around and then going and stopping in with elderly relatives is what caused the death toll
Almost all the dead are elderly and infirm, the people who dont go out much.
All they needed to do was protect care homes , the elderly and the medically unwell, everyone else could have carried on as normal.
