I live in south san jose california. Is there credible evidence that in the near future I may find myself defending my home with no police to call for help? I am concerned about that actually becoming a reality and it sounds far fetched BUT I am not one to take chances with my life.

So if anyone wants to weigh in I am all ears.

Also lets say it does come to that, what the fuck do I do?

Bro,

I don't think it will come to that.  I certainly hope not.  The news media would have us believe it's fucking Apocalypse Now, but that's primarily because it gets those gits ratings.  Yes, the degenerate elements are out there and some policemen are scared of being painted with this insanely broad anarchists' brush, but I honestly think the Antifas and BMs Matter trash lack the fortitude to take their shit into an all-out race war.

That said, I agree with Rob.  If you are not already armed and you have the money to buy some home defense, a shotgun, a pair of 9mms with plenty of spare magazines full of ammo on hand, and a well-trained, great big attack dog should keep you more than safe if the shit hits the fan.

Again, I don't think it will come to that.  Still, better safe than sorry, nay?

Yeah dogs are a nice deterrent also, get a large Rottweiler or a Doberman...

I have a 105 pound German Doberman, he's a fucking tank.

1. Move or

2. Add steel security doors and steel window bars to your house and

3. Build a security fence with barb wire at the top, or a wall with spikes at the top around your property and

4. Get two to four very mean dogs and leave them outside to deal with anyone climbing over the fence/wall and

5. Hire armed guards and

6. Keep fire arms in the house in case 2-5 above fail while you are home and

7. When venturing outside your home, travel in an armored vehicle, wear body armor, and take a concealed fire arm with you and

8. Save up for a ransom fund, in case you or one of your loved ones is kidnapped.

Well, at least these are tried and true things people do in Brazil, Colombia and Venezuela.

It's just a tool. I have a van full of them, many of which are used infrequently. But when I need it, I have it. Preparedness is good.

Other security measures are generally apolitical. Impeding access with physical barriers is fine. Access detection devices and surveillance equipment to identify is accepted. But if you regard a gun as a sensible addition to the toolbox, you're suddenly wearing a Dixie trucker cap, chewing tobacco, and whooting about Donald Trump? Shouldn't a liberal be allowed to add a gun to his security tools without being accused of political betrayal?
