reported to ALXnow that one of the suspects was light-skinned and had tattoos on the right side of his face.

That's surprising because usually guys with neck tattoos are upstanding citizens.

It's odd out there now, and probably going to get worse. One murder that surprised me was they killed character actor Thomas Jefferson Byrd a few days ago in Atlanta. From the description of the crime scene, it looks like he could've been running from a mugging. He mostly worked on stage, and for Spike Lee, some might remember him as Errol, the junkie hitman in Clockers -
