1. The thread topic is Covid restrictions. My post deals with THAT and your last few posts deal with a different topic.

2. FYI, all this bad stuff is going on right now and Trump is President of the USA.
It's happening on his watch. The leader can't take ownership for things he doesn't like. Sorry, but that's reality.
So Obamas legacy is Benghazi and running guns to Mexican Cartels among other nefarious deeds against America, but you hate Trump because he says mean things? Can you post the interview where Obama takes credit for the swine flu that killed thousands while he was "president" that caused him and your saviour Joe to stop testing for it?

I made the previous post and you're giving your opinion, which is fine.

Because it's FACT of medical science that the disease can be widely spread by asymptomatic people.
https://www.cnet.com/health/can-you-spread-coronavirus-even-if-you-dont-have-symptoms/

That’s true. But it’s also been proven that masks don’t work and people without medical conditions have nothing to worry about.

It’s to late to try and put the toothpaste back into the tube man. People have been shopping in public, going out to eat, flying across country, etc...

If those who tested positive were forced to quarantine this would have been taken care of much sooner.

You already pointed out the rioting issues with covid and the homeless aren’t being stacked in mass from covid deaths, so let’s be realistic.

Whether masks have any value at all is debatable but I think we can all agree that the mask itself should be worn properly to be effective. Obviously this isn’t the case.

if a mask worked

it would cost 300 bucks

you would need a prescription for it

then it would be the exact same mask worn by all

tickets of not wearing said mask

maskies are dumb sheep

ruining my dollar

ruining  commerce
ruining little kids  sports and mental and social lives having to wear them

Howard instead of these Draconian rules why would anyone be opposed to those who are infected or who have tested positive being required to quarantine? Why isn’t the government installing rules to protect use from those who are sick?

Have you been tested for Covid-19? If not, why not? My best guess would be because you have no symptoms nor are you aware of an exposure. So then, you're home free...right? Wrong you could easily be asymptomatic and be spreading Covid-19 to someone you care about or maybe just strangers.

I'm all for people going into quarantine if they test positive for Covid-19. I don't think it would have the impact you think it would.

The government can make all the rules they want, people will continue to run red lights just as many will not self quarantine even when they know they are spreading the virus.

I have been tested.

Ive traveked cross country for work and a funeral. Ive been to Seattle when it first started opening back up. Portland, Michigan, Texas and California. Ive never had symptoms but my wife was nervous I could be asymptomatic and she was pregnant at the time and she didnt want to take any chances.

Ive eaten in public at restaurants and trained at gyms.

I am aware people are self absorbed, look at the rioting and looting. People routinely dont wear masks, even on the plane. I find that annoying but I get it.

If its as contagious as its we are being led to believe we dont have much of a chance avoiding it.

If you're afraid of catching the virus dont leave the house and dont let anyone in. The initial expectations were 70-80% of the population would be infected. There was never a fear of not getting it but now the state level government has lost their mind.

To my point the rules should be guidelines. And real action should be taken against those who are positive, you wont catch them all but its a better option.
