Still I think he was better in 99 and 03 maybe even in 98 also, the 01 Arnold showing is a bit overhyped for his looks imo.

Its an odd decision but if you look at most of the videos and photos he looks real soft. His definition is totally blurred out. This was actually done on purpose!

What’s amazing is that Ronnie got way too comfortable after this show, and he almost lost the Mr Olympia to Jay Cutler later that year.

That was actually the only show ever he had great calves. Must've pumped gallons of oil in them leading up to the show, or used em for every single site injection he did during his prep (like Flex always did)

When he turns with his back to the audience you can see his feet are hurting him. Dorian talked about that says there are little pads of fat in the bottoms of your feet and he got so lean that his feet would hurt walking around

actually this show is why he came in off in 2001 and 2002, he tried to match this shape

in 2001 he wanted to go to the hospital, chad told him to drink a gallon of water which is why he wasn't in great shape

in 2002 he again tried to match this shape and instead came in too small and flat

this 2001 arnold body almost cost him two olympias

Finally.  I've been waiting over 20 years for this to get uploaded to YouTube.

He looks great there.  This is probably the biggest Ronnie got before ultimately losing control of his stomach.  Not that he had full control of it there - but it obviously got bigger as he competed at 287-lb at the 2003 Olympia, 296-lb at the 2004 Olympia, and just over 300-lb [!] at the England Grand Prix just following the Olympia in 2004.
