I always liked the color blue over the color red. Blue is the color of the ocean and the sky. Red is the color (supposedly) of hell. Or to be nicer, one of the colors of a rose. But then, roses have thorns.

All Metro areas are turning blue, it's just the nature of how they are governed.

You don't see many people moving to the rural areas much anymore, unless they want to retire.

Plus, all the jobs are typically in the big city, not so much the suburbs.

The new working from home trend may help spread that out though.

I live on Treasure Island in a 16 unit Condo on Gulf Blvd. Of the 10 full time residents, all 10 are staunch Trump supporters. Trump flags everywhere. I don't really see it turning Blue any time soon

Is that why your county was blue in the 2020 election?

Same thing when i lived in Houston, about 90% of the people i knew were Reps and loved Trump. Harris County has been blue for a long time.
