For myself personally, the reason why I was so mad at getting fired for my teaching position at the university was because all the Trump-supporting stuff I said, I SAID/WROTE IN THE PRIVACY OF MY OWN HOME, POSTED ON MY PRIVATE FACEBOOK ACCOUNT. Even IF I said or wrote those things on campus, the university would STILL be breaking not only the law - BUT THEIR OWN F*CKING POLICY - by firing me. But to get fired for expressing the freedom of my consciousness, legally and privately, away from campus?
Where in the FUCK in my contract did it state that I couldn't voice my own personal opinions on political matters? Of course the university knew that. Incidentally, these same assholes fired a TENURED history professor for stating that he didn't want a Women's Studies major with a specialization in "The History of 20th Century Gender Relationships" to teach in the History Department SINCE SHE DIDN'T HAVE A PH.D IN HISTORY. And he got fired for saying that! Dr. Jean-Yves Bernard.
He sued the university and won - costing the university over $550,000 in back pay, giving him an early pension, AND spending likely another half mil on legal expenses.

In 1994, Christopher Hitchens said [in a CSPAN interview, I believe], that if social justice for feminists/women carry on, it will only be a matter of time before men start playing the victim card too, since it's unfair to allow women special privileges to whine over made-up/false narratives, while men get blamed for things they aren't even doing [like the bullshit claim that 1 in 4 college-aged women is the victim of rape - complete horseshit lie, but one that allows women all sorts of privileges by letting them claim to be victims of sexual assault when they are not, which has led to the suspension of thousands of male students who literally did nothing, and were not even CHARGED for a sex crime, let alone convicted of one].
Those of us on the right see that the left gets whatever they want by being petulant, whining little babies. The smart thing for Democrats to do would be to get a grip on these assholes, and at least try to offer SOME semblance of actual fairness and justice. But instead, they let these little babies run wild, damaging all sorts of property, and [in the case of Portland Schmayor Ted Wheeler] allow riots and looting to continue for over 100 DAYS, while explicitly refusing federal assistance in quelling the riots, while BLAMING Trump for causing them in the first place.
How the fuck does that make sense? Wheeler's left-wing pets go nuts and burn down his city, Trump offers to help, and it's somehow TRUMP causing the issues?
As for "the politics of division", WHAT THE FUCK DO LEFTISTS THINK THEY ARE DOING? Meanwhile, every time I hear a leftist talk, I consider them to be being divisive. HUH?!?! ACCORDING TO WHO?! My view/respect for the USA went UP since Trump was elected, because I realized just how many Americans there are who actually despise social justice as much as I do. Especially with 53% of White women voting for Trump - I was ecstatic to see how many people are sick of SJW's, and my view of the USA went up.
