Vince for years you talked about living off the grid on your property in Texas. This girl did it for years.
Yes, I was intrigued on doing it until I realized that there would actually cost more overall along with the areas available would be unreasonable for solid work. She is doing it successfully but she clearly doesn't live there year-round. I did spend a few days in a few of these off-grid properties and they were very efficient, clean, and obviously no connected to the outside infrastructure. But with my job, it would be quite impractical especially since I work at home nowadays
People who are off-grid are usually in an work class that would be suitable....rancher, artist, logger, farmer, etc. I'm neither any of these people. I will eventually set up an off-grid property but it will be solely for vacation purposes.
