Any Detroit GetBiggers confirm this? (Gunfire to celebrate New Year)

I've watched a few of this guys videos - he likes to drive around 'The Hood' at night - some depressing business

But this gunfire can't be real, can it?  Some of it sounds like machine guns FFS.  And some 'shots' sound close enough to blow out the mic for a couple of seconds 

I know nothing about the subject, but if it is real I bet there are some on here that can guess what sort of things are being fired

Yeah, in that one I posted there's literally a hood rat scuttling along at the beginning

He's quite ballsy - he goes into those late night shops that seal the customers out front in a completely empty bunker sort of space, while they serve from up high behind bars/bullet proof glass.  People are playing dice, smoking, talking gibberish...

And have you seen those where people party just literally out on the street? With sofa's they've dragged out. And he has to weave in and out of them

I reckon he must have something in his lap, just in case

That's about right for most urban ghetto areas in the US. The first 1/2 hour to an hour after mid-night on New Years, you have people bring out left over fireworks and let off a few mags. It's been a little worse over the last couple of years because they know the cops aren't coming out for it.

Usually it will be about 3 or 4 mags or revolver reloads before the shooters realize that they just shot off a decent amout of money, and go inside to drink and sleep it off, or they go out to get into real trouble.

News Yeard Eve is the one night I make sure to be out of the city (Detroit) as early as possible. It's not like Southside Chicago it's just idiots firing gunshots in the air like fireworks. Tonight we ventured to the east side for carry out. Rough area but nobody bothers us.

Not the ones I've seen - they are always from inside the vehicle, and I've never seen his face either - he has made quite a lot of these...

Years ago we were cruising Woodward (probably in Highland Park as it was near the powerhouse) when we seen some mother fucker get thrown out of a moving car.  We laughed our fucking asses off.  Thankfully, the guy was able to stagger up to his feet and start walking.

I used to live in a very Hispanic part of Houston, by Hispanic i mean Mexican.

I heard gunshots on a weekly basis, just vatos getting drunk and shooting in the air.

Cinco de mayo was a riot, you would hear people shooting into the air 10-20 shots at a time.

The cops never really could track it down, shooting into the air makes it hard to locate.

Was dating this Mexica broad back then, i went to her families house on NYE. Her drunk uncle would just fire off his 9mm into the ground randomly. Nobody made a big deal about it.

Apparently in Mexico, depending on which area, this is very common for celebration.

I stay in the basement from 11pm to 1 am because what goes up must come down, and yes my ceiling has been pierced twice by bullets as they drop... suburban goofballs have absolutely no idea the crazy shit that goes on in the hood, yet still wanna lecture me.
