You are right, if you are wise you won't hire someone just because you like them, you hire them because the are the most qualified and the best suited for the job. The same should be true of the people you vote for.

Actually, the Apprentice was on television from 2004 until 2017 and for 15 seasons. He's made appearances on various television shows since 1985. So yeah, in one form or another he's been on television for 36 years. He's definitely a celebrity. I don't see where any of his gigs qualified him for office....accept he did fire a lot of folks while he was in office....most often with a tweet.

I am not one for predictions. At this point, just like when Trump was elected, I have an open mind and I hope for the best. (I'm not going to go through my Getbig post history, but I said as much when Trump was elected). The only difference between the two is I actually like Biden, whereas Trump was never someone I admired long before he ran for office. But, whether I like someone or not has nothing to do with their job performance.

As I have also posted. I was hoping for someone younger than Biden, Bloomberg, Sanders and Warren.
