I mean, who wasn't reminded of slavery every time they saw these images on packages. Never mind the fact that the woman's family who was the image for Aunt Jemima said she was very proud of being on the brand.

I pretty much just buy generic at this point.  I'm sure some of it is made by the brand companies, but it's cheaper and I'm not knowingly supporting any SJW companies that bend over to any bullshit that comes up.

It is crazy how they've destroyed brand images that have been around my whole life.  I'm waiting for the Pillsbury Doughboy to get accused of white flour privilege, or that the Michellin Man is a way of fat shaming people.
