Yes, leftists in this case and we have recently seen it on the Right. She needs to be slapped upside the head for saying, “Riots are the language of the unheard.” But the title of your post should be “rioters” not “leftists”. Americans broadly see this as a danger from both sides, maybe even more from the Right at this particular moment in time (although the poll results below would probably have been different last summer).

Do you think there is more extremism with:
Republicans? 42%
Democrats? 25%
Both about the same? 32%

I think there is merit to the double standard argument. But IN NO WAY does that make a Marjorie Taylor Greene less repellent (or a riot at the US CAPITOL for that matter). I suppose none of these people should be pushed off social media (including the ex President), but that is a hard one. Would you rather have the government police the social media platforms rather than the private companies themselves? That is what European leaders advocate but that seems worrisome to me. Talk about risk of partisan censorship.
