Girl abused by bf from age 15-22. Finally stooped to his level out of anger and hit him at one point. Briefly went to jail for 5 hrs. People then thought she was abuser. She says victims should not be silent and that you can only control yourself, not other people.

At some point I learned to speed read after reading a lot of Kindle Unlimited books for 1.5 years.   :D

Here was my method and anyone can do it. I wasn't purposely trying to do it and it took over 1 year.

1. Read at the same time you have 'voice to text' enabled to so you can listen as you read.
2. Start off listening/reading at 2X speed, then eventually go to 3X, and then 4X.
3. Initially 4X was very intense and lost concentration at that level after 5 minutes or so.
4. At some point could read/listen at 4X for a long time and maintain concentration at that speed.
5. At some point I was reading faster than the 4X and it was frustrating waiting for the page to turn when the audio caught up.
6. Then started without voice to text, and maybe read at 5X(Kindle stops at 4X).
7. Took online reading comprehension test to see if I was delusional but scored well.
8. Still switch up speeds depending on energy level but can now read fast and still comprehend the info.
