LOL - you summed it up perfectly. These no talent hacks will have short careers because there is nothing behind them but looks and a good production crew. Gone are the days when a singer could go on for decades because of their great voice or songwriting skills. That shit can be manufactured in a sound studio now using Autotune and a team of anonymous writers and studio musicians. Once Cardi B looks not so hot - she will disappear in the night. And there will be a new "face" to replace her on a moment's notice.
A friend of mine is in a rock band that hit the big time in the 80's and 90's. I asked him about the industry and what he learned and he said - "if I ever come back in another life, I want to be a music industry lawyer- they are the ones who make all the money and control everything"
