Well if you listen to the TV commentators he's the greatest of all time, plays all 5 positions yet I've never seen a 6'8" play center and is an elite defender which means he just muscles people around but looks like a fool against other elite players.

Hate when they say that about him (that he can guard all five positions). It was/is laughable whenever he tried to guard competent centers/power forwards. I remember both Garnett and David West killed him whenever he tried guarding them. Layup after layup.

Lebron's growth hormone induced size and strength makes him a versatile defender.  He is not a great defender and he sure as hell can't guard a real Center or a skilled Power Forward.

NBA analysts at ESPN and elsewhere frequently get carried away.   They are in love with Lebron's size and athleticism, which is really the main thing he has going for him.  It's not like he's a great shooter.
