Some drugs, like weed, can bring out the demons you have kept suppressed. I've heard the theory that those who hate weed do so because they can't stand to see the truth of themselves. There is something to it from personal experience, it can bring up heavy stuff. It does not offer much "escape" in my experience. If everyone here dropped Adderall at the same time it would be interesting to see how it would affect posting.
