Hahahhaa - that's great - all that fake gushing at funerals has always sickened me

The one underneath is funny too

A Texas family remembered a 74-year-old man — Leslie Ray Charping — as a “model example of bad parenting combined with mental illness and a complete commitment to drinking, drugs, womanizing and being generally offensive.”  They wrote that he lived “29 years longer than expected, and much longer than he deserved.”

The bit about him being a horse's ass and leaving behind victims is just  ;D

I forgave my father before he died.....both my sisters never spoke to him ever again when my mother died......not one word in over  twenty years.

LMAO!!!!

Taffin - out of curiosity, are you familiar with the Ironage horror series "Tales from the Crypt" - and specifically its co-series "The Haunt of Fear", illustrated by "Ghastly" Graham Ingels?

Whether you are or not, I think you would enjoy the following story, which relates to what you saying, and goes to show the lengths to which one man was willing to go to enjoy exactly what you described:

Quote
May/June 1952 - For the Love of Death!
A lonely man decides to take the place of the corpse at a funeral so he can enjoy the eulogies and ceremony for the deceased. Assuming, of course, that he can get out of the coffin again ...

^ LOL...I'd like to say the same fate for the people fake-gushing at funerals.  They sicken me.

The second image here is a SPOILER, but worth reading if you don't intend to read the entire story.  Fantastic ending - a very fitting end to another angle of all the sickening fake gushing that happens at funerals.  ;D

Wow, you gotta be a complete scumbag for your own children to write that about you.
I actually worked with a dude who's obituary made the NY Post last year.  Dude was good shit, and didn't give a fuck about anything! LOL!

Vaguely - I'm afraid that glossy American comics were few and far between when I was a youngling, but somehow I am aware of the 'skullet' guy

But thanks for the pics - very amusing  ;D

I like the fact that she was found naked, but located via her mobile phone - so she'd decided to hold onto that at least...

LMAO...I just read this comment from that link with some pages from that comic that I posted:

Quote
Man. Some people have the weirdest fetishes!

(Though he's not wrong that dead people are treated better, sometimes even far too well. I'm reminded of a strip where a group of people are talking about a guy who just died, and they are like "he was a swell guy" and "he'll be missed," and one of them is thinking "he threw rocks at kittens.")

LOL!!!

EXACTLY what you were saying, Taffin.  ;D

These people sicken me.  "He/she was so loving, and will be missed by all.  Earth's loss is heaven's gain.  Heaven gained a new angel today", and so on.  Meanwhile, the person was a piece of shit, who treated everyone around them like garbage.  ;D  :-X
