Women like this were a dime a dozen earlier in the pandemic in New York City. You don’t see it as much anymore. I guess they got tired of getting cursed out regularly. I’ve unloaded on many.
A few reasons I see for why young white women have been the biggest embarrassments throughout this debacle:
I think a lot of the absurd "Covid risks" behaviors on BOTH sides are about making a personal statement.
This silly twit jogged by and wanted to shame the guy and act horrified. It's faux outrage , not a real concern for her health.
Many folks who refuse to get the covid vaccine are obese, drink or smoke.
I've seen college kids binge drinking and brag about using large amounts of rec drugs.
Hmmm, now these same people don't want to take a vaccine because of "health risks"?! Really?
C'mon, this is just some "in your face" , "you can't make me " act of defiance.
Granted, a few people living healthy lifestyles, have sincere concerns about possible health risks with a new vaccine.
My wife and I got the vaccine a few months ago , and we wore a mask in public , INDOOR places ( grocery store).
Now, we don't, and in Ga, very few places require you to "mask up" now.
I'm retired now and have the luxury of going to the gym during "off peak" less crowded times.
I don't wear a mask in there and prefer training in a less crowded gym, so wtf.
We won't fly anywhere right now and it's due more to people acting crazy, then any fears over covid for us.
For me, getting the vaccine was a simple risk/benefit ratio.
In my judgement, it greatly reduced my risk of serious covid illness with minimal health risk.
