Completely agree with your sentiments.  Wish I too were stoned.  LOL.  If this Kim Potter had a history of being a racist piece of shit or even a terrible police officer with a laundry list of complaints I'd want a much, much stiffer sentence.  Assuming she was a fundamentally decent human being with a solid history of work performance, then I think I'm ok with the light sentence.  Perhaps they could have added something to the end of her sentence in the form of community service, etc. etc.  You are right though, if it were my loved one, I'd want her head on a fucking stick.
