The only worthwhile materials to recycle are metals and certain plastics. All the rest goes in the dump.
I was involved in establishing a recycling program where I used to live. Glass is an absolute mess to recycle. Paper just gets burned (releasing lots of toxins btw). Food waste should be composted at home. Once it is tossed in the trash it is a lost cause.
