What is responsible for this?  The guys in the 70s and 80s all had lean faces.  Bodybuilders today can get pretty lean, but often still have very fat/watery faces.

Weren't the guys back in the 70s and 80s on big quantities of orals, in general?  The standard cycle back then seems to have been low (or no) test + deca + lots of orals.
None of those guys had fat, soft-looking moonfaces.  It's a modern phenomenon.

If you only "replaced" what you had naturally, you should look no different than what you looked like when you were younger and natty. And if you looked as great as you do on "trt", you would never have done steroids that shut you down in the first place.

Specifically large doses will cause acute water retention and edema after about 2-3 days. This can cause about a gallon or 8lb difference in weight. Again it is January the idea is to create a healing growth cocoon we can be shredded and dry this summer. I am leaner than I look I am holding water and sodium. I will drop it this summer just being outside at the pool with a little sun. But yes it is amazing how a gallon of water can change your look dramatically.

For resting heart rate:

Newborns 0 to 1 month old: 70 to 190 beats per minute
Infants 1 to 11 months old: 80 to 160 beats per minute
Children 1 to 2 years old: 80 to 130 beats per minute
Children 3 to 4 years old: 80 to 120 beats per minute
Children 5 to 6 years old: 75 to 115 beats per minute
Children 7 to 9 years old: 70 to 110 beats per minute
Children 10 years and older, and adults (including seniors): 60 to 100 beats per minute


There is a positive correlation between HGH levels and resting heart rates. HGH also absolutely causes water retention and edema but again this is all good as that is a fucking cocoon of nutrients. Water is absolutely the most anabolic compound we have at our disposal. You will hold more water due to its increase in production of anitdieuretic hormone  and have a higher heart rate and faster metabolism on HGH as your body is doing more healing and growing. Personally I probably just get too much salt in my diet. You want to grow increase your sodium content get a little wet and sloppy you will not grow shredded.
