By way of phase 1 they will certainly stick to monitoring for safety and the ability for patients to tolerate the vaccine, but by phase 3 that's where you have to test if it actually works, no? And by test, I mean inject these people with an actual HIV virus to determine the efficacy of said HIV mRNA vaccine. Imagine signing up for that.

I don't think they would do that in the US. One might to look into how they proved efficacy of other vaccinations that have come out in the past few decades (HPV?). Without having done so myself I'd speculate that they would take 2 groups of people in some high prevalence area, sub-Saharan Africa comes to mind, do a double blinded vaccination scheme and then measure effects over a long period of time.

These current experimental compounds (THEY ARE NOT VACCINES) are the FIRST to skip rabbit and rat trails and go straight to human children (they are the most resistant and resilient).  If anyone received a live HIV infection clinically, it was Tuskeegee 2.0. Tenofovir or in combination with a cocktail appears to work fine.  There is absolutely no reason to circumvent animal testing.  You'd have to be out of your mind to voluntarily get infected.  HIV- is not HIV-free, it's undetectable viroids per ML of blood.

PreP is all over 99% effective at stopping infections.  That's why fools are here going raw on ladyboys (No Homo)

Pandora's Box has been open.

Basically, all experimental compounds can literally go to the human subjects now and weed out the side effects. Humans absorb the injuries and high mortality vs. animals.

Like I said, kids are first.

The animal test phase occurs before it goes to Stage 1 clinical trials...so that's already done, now its being tested on a small group of adults, not children.  Tenofvir doesn't treat HIV, it allows patients to live with it and reduces the risk of it developing into AIDS, and the world is a big place and not everyone has access to a drug that they can take for the rest of their lives, or can afford to do it either

Where did I say Tenofvir or the other four known drugs are treatments?

You get safe and effective sexual access to dime-piece trannies.   FOH!  I knew this was coming.  They are leveling up on PreP.
