a 3% bf measurement means that the overall fat weight of your body is 3%
Add more water and the fat % has to go down
A dry bodybuilder will have a higher BF% than a watery one
Imagine Muntzer onstage at 4%, then three days later carrying 20lbs of water.
His Bf would be the same but its percentage would have to be lower
without a DEXA scan no one really knows someones BF% and even they can be inconsistent
All I know is that the driest bodybuilders will have a higer BF% than a smooth one
Thanks for clarifying. With Lou Ferrigno claiming 1% body fat, and Ronnie Coleman claiming 0%, I just wondered what the truth was.
As if the when bodybuilding world isn't fueled on mass quantities of PED's to begin with, competitors lie too.
