I like how all the body parts are listed overhead. Was arms also written above the rack so people could curl in it?

 ;D
nope the racks are at the far end and in the corner of the building in the leg section. one of the few gyms that actually have 200 lb dbs not that I would ever use them at my age  :'( :'( :'( :'( there's mostly for 2 members who can actually handle them.

Yeah like i wrote i heard some things about it moving to canada was just not sure if china was involved.

I have york plates 45lbs and 25lbs all stamped with "Canada". These were purchased about 20 years ago though

a lot of barbell companies used different foundries to cast their plates. I lived 5 miles from one of the ones that billard barbell used. I would buy the unpainted weights for 15 cents a lb. I should have stocked up more way back then.

I have some York bars, dumbbells, and plates that were definitely made in China. They are very heavy duty and high quality, but not perfect. I do like the York products that are made in China.

I have 2 older York Power Bars that were made at York PA in the 1990’s. They are exceptional.

The older bars are class and well made for the price back in the day. Going to look
and see if i can buy an old bar. I notice most of the older bars were not chrome but just plain feather steel.
I have also seen some impressive weight put on a York 1" Bar too... ;D saw a video of some dude squatting a decent weight with a 1" Bar. was a York or Weider Bar.

Big squat, little bar -

.

.

If you can find a decent standard bar, it doesn't make that much of a difference unless you're actually doing the olympic lifts. Standard bar might even be more interesting sometimes because lifting on them has a deader feel.

I have York rubber coated pro style dumbells they even position your hand in the middle they are very high quality. I got them maybe 15 years ago. At the time I also got a York flat bench press and a York seated shoulder press bench barbell and covered plates never had any issues with them. I dont see the plates I ordered on their site anymore but I like them. They are steel with rubber coating 45lbers

https://yorkbarbell.com/product/pro-style-dumbbell/

I dont see the bench I have on their site anymore either but I can vouch for their pro style dumbells I like them better than any gym dumbell I have used in the last 15 years or even prior they really are my favorite dumbell the hand positioning is really nice feature
