Sure, but I do think that's a separate point. It’s not something I give a fuck about – with regards to LGBT issues, the trash talk and his response – but if someone feels compelled to make any sort of 'pride' statement (Black, White, Yellow, homo, etc.) it should at least be in response to mocking and criticism as opposed to just blindly making statements for attention. He's a pretty strong-minded and divisive guy, much like his father, so I doubt he did it to try and garner public approval. He's probably got a gay in the family, or something.
The bigger embarrassment was getting stopped like that by a guy who's not known for it. I'm not sure having Roy Jones Jr. as a coach has done him any favours. Roy's freak athleticism and reflexes are what allowed him to dominate in his prime. Chris seems to have adopted that style and kept his hands down too much. He should take some rest and finish his career back with his dad for a few last fights.
