2. There are millions of retired military and those that were on a Special Ops team from each branch (seals, rangers, airborne, etc) who still train as civilians that also train other civilians

Given there is more murder by guns than there is self defence by guns, wouldnt that mean the right to keep and bear arms is actually to take life, reduce liberty and take property? If you spend 99% of the time using something to take from others and 1% of the time using to preserve/protect from others, I’m not sure how the 1% statistic becomes the driving message 🤔

I would assume this data to have bias to the NRA so I would assume a lot of that 2M is likely not in official crime statistics. But then again how many of that 2M defend with a gun because they were attacked with a gun? Or is it someone is trying to steal a car so they pistol whip the offenders who run off.

Eg I can defend a break in by yelling, making noise and turning on house lights. If I can get the same outcome holding a gun the ‘defence’ with a gun statistic begins to get a bit misleading.
