Besides his barrel chest and square shoulders on that height, his forearm flexors are very impressive, his upper arms although reasonably thick for his height don’t have much shape, his flexors really give his arms a thick solid look.

It is just before his competition with Arnie.
They competed at end of the September, this magazine is dated October, during that period they were on the stands from couple of months back I guess.
His legs as a whole is super impressive.
He was a nobody outside the bodybuilding community but I can't imagine how much pussy he got in his prime, even Arnold mentions how he was surrounded with girls in the day of the competition.

Cross body hammers? Yes I do them sometimes. Mainly I stick with ez bar curls, alternate db curls and chin ups now but I cycle in hammers. I belive hammers give lots of arm thickness when done right. Most people do hammers at the end light weight for a couple sets, I would say they are more important than regular curls if you haven’t done them and they should be hammered. Regular hammers and cross body hammers both great for thickness.

Yes sorry I meant cross body hammers. I saw you saying before you mostly focused on hammers. I take note when someone with big arms says something like that. I find hammers are better myself alright for thickness because the shape is there already . Thx brah

Lee also had a York power rack also, it was sold on Ebay about 20 years ago for relatively not much money, around $900-1200. The lineage was neat too - Lee to Dan Inosanto to Ron Balicki, who then sold it.

Our High School was similar - One Universal machine, one Universal leg curl/leg extension, and a pommel horse. There was one Olympic bar and an incline bench, but you had to get special permission to use it.
