Most Trump hate seems to be that he was too Trump. My basic complaints on policy are when he wasn't Trump enough. I think he dropped the ball a lot but the world would be going a far better direction if he'd taken a second term and spared us the current neocommunist marionette.

I haven't followed the cases you mention but there's a clear pattern of the left leveraging every opportunity to chisel away your rights until they're gone. The guys here who roll their eyes and say there's no disarmament agenda are plainly dishonest and unwilling to make a case for what they believe. Just ask them to confirm that they're fine with totally unrestricted 1790s style 2A.

Absolutely. The objectionable thing isn't that they hold a different point of view. It's the use of governmental power to force you into compliance with their views.

Political conservatives must not make the same mistake. You have to let people do things which you find wrong and even criminal. Drugs, abortion, transing.

Loonies will gravitate to Portland, San Francisco, etc. You'll have your communities. Let the experiment run and see who's better off in 5, 10, 20 years.

Nobody being able to force or ban others is the only way not to have 50% of the country super pissed off and ready for a national divorce. If you don't give people freedom then the nation will fracture.
