Is that true of Florida in general, or is it isolated to a few specific areas?

I'd strongly suspect my city has more crime, but the city is pretty segregated. So you have some areas that are basically out of a Norman Rockwell painting, and other areas are complete shit. Sometimes separated by only a few blocks.

Crime is completely swept under the rug here too. The police spokesman has been specifically told to not address the public from what I can tell.

Its 100% everywhere throughout FL... just google any "rich upscale area in FL + crime" to see how the dindus leave their neighborhood to rape, kill, carjack and rob rich people in nice neighborhoods as soon as they step out of their gated community

However difficult it is to find... 90% of it goes unreported as they don't want to FCK with tourism money....
