Baseballs Highest Paid Reliever Injury
« on: March 16, 2023, 11:39:17 AM »
Edwin Diaz, who for my money has the coolest walk on music, is out for the season after blowing his knee "celebrating a win" at the World Baseball Classic. 20 mill a year over 5 years and hes done for a year celebrating. Geezus

Mets' Edwin Diaz expected to miss season with torn patellar tendon

These players are so fragile.

There has to be a reason.

Likely steroid use has weakened their connective tissues.

this isn't all that uncommon. guys hurt themselves celebrating all the time. but in this case it was a guy playing for a team other than the one who's paying him to play.

Or could it be not using anything because of testing hinders recovery?

They weren't injured yet so no recovery needed.
