Would you say Lyle McDonald is a bro scientist?

Yes, he is not a scientist.  Zero interest in his “theories”.

But everyone has respect for him, all the real scientists. No one ever said he was stupid and rarely did anyone say he was outright "wrong." People only have a problem with his personality.

Who are the real experts in this space IYO? What do you think of Borge Fagerli?

I like Lyle the "scientist", his stubborn fat solution got me down to 7.5% body fat as a natural for the only time in my life :)

I tried his PMSF variation this past summer and was left massively deflated and weak. He recommends scaling back the volume by at least 50% and going on the EC stack. Looking back at pictures from the period it's like two different bodies, not good.

I think all his books are due for an update, he wrote most of them more than 10 years ago.

Do you rely on scientists to tell you how to run faster or maximize your long jump?  ::)
