I sure have back in the day, so I'm familiar with his trope/modus operandi - but I currently don't - why'd you ask Matt?
Oh - no reason. Only because I am a fan of Columbo myself, and I noticed that you spelled
Franco Columbu's name the same way the name of Jewish actor Peter Falk's Italian detective character/series
Columbo is spelled.

Although not mentioned often in the series - Columbo's real first name is actually Frank. And given that Columbo is Italian as well. So his full name could actually be Franco Columbo.

But since Columbo didn't speak Italian...I will assume his full name was Frank, being the integrated Italian American he was.
Taffin, just one more thing...
The 1979 Columbo episode "The Conspirators" - the final episode in the original run before its 1989 comeback - was my favourite episode. Great summary here - this should have more than a paltry 9K views:
You should watch that episode again.

We don't have Peacock TV in Canada, so I have the full Columbo series on DVD...and sometimes stream them if I misplace a disc.
