shitter is restricting views to its shitters only
It could be on purpose like that...
I remember in 2007, I would send Facebook links to friends on MSN Messenger. I noticed that a majority of them [maybe 2 in 3, or 3 in 4] weren't being received.
I think it may have been possible to send links if you included a written message with it, but standalone links couldn't be sent. Something like that. But I can't remember.
Either way, there was a proactive effort on Microsoft to prevent Facebook from becoming popularized using Microsoft's MSN Messenger system.
It's understandable - when you think about it, 16 years later, who even uses MSN Messenger for messaging?
Maybe that's what's happening with Twitter links - with some coordinated effort by competitive platforms/software or even ISP's/governments to suppress the proliferation of Twitter links, due to Elon Musk's dedication to making it a free spech platform.
I'm not absolutely certain of that though. Some videos are banned by geographical location as well. So it could be happening for another reason.
Incidentally, that link worked for me.
