The IRS has always had military weapons ever since the day of Al Capone.   The IRS has to contend with gangs, organized crime, drug dealers, etc.   Waste of a video

CBDC makes everything traceable so this is not for the average person.

When CBDC is introduced the theory might be those operating outside of it are enemies of the state.

Biden and the Democrats wanted 80,000 armed IRS cops. The Republican house stopped that. Obama talked of a national police department and Biden nearly got it. Imagine what they would be used for?  Bet it wouldn't be just for taxes.  They would be the Democrats brown shirts.

 Look at how the Democrats have weaponized DOJ, AG and FBI and are used to go after Republicans. Think 80,000 heavily armed IRS Federal cops wouldn't be weaponized against political opponents by the Democrats?

A beefed up IRS to go after the wealthy elite in this country would be nice.  Make them pay their fair share for once.  Right now they don’t have the resources to target anyone with the resources to tie the IRS up in court, so they target smaller fish

WRONG. The IRS are auditors.  The FBI , ATF and/or the Secret Service (in cases of counterfeiting)have been the enforcement. Capine was nabbed by the FBI and they charged him with tax evasion. IRS didn't have any thing to do with his capture other than audit his tax returns.

Are you sure?

Didn't the IRS show up to Capones home with guns and arrested him? I also remember the IRS prosecutor that stuck to Capone along with the IRS appointed judge.

They may have used a special appointed judge and DA. But it was the feds that took him down.  And in all likelihood the DA was probably only assisted by an IRS agent to because tax code is complicated beyond typical criminal law. Besides thats what? Almost 100 years ago now? IRS agents are bookworms. Very strange move to arm them now.
