In the Bam Bam Bigelow episode of "The Dark Side of the Ring", they said Andre basically almost killed Bam Bam.

What year would that have been? I figured around 1986, but wasn't Andre falling apart by around that time? How could he still be rag-dolling 6'4" / 390-lb men?

Also, is there any way to put Andre's strength into perspective? For example, Brock Lesnar would beat him in a fight, right?

Exactly how strong was Andre? Every story basically describes him just laying waste to giant men. Another example is Big John Studd. Studd was said to be 6'10" and 350-lb, meaning he was probabaly at least 6'7" and 330-lb.

Yet Andre tossed Studd around easily.

I'm watching the Jake the Snake interview below.

I didn't know Jake's dad was 7-feet tall and 425-lb.  ??? Wiki puts him at 6'10" and 350-lb, but that's still monstrous.

Similar stats to Blackjack Mulligan, but slightly below Andre the Giant territory.

Incredible.  :o

I always wondered which wrestlers could do that to Andre, if any.

Who did you see at the Mid-Atlantic show, Vince; Grizzly Smith or Blackjack Mulligan?
