Bands and machines get a bad rep because they don't look as hardcore. But try switching over and you might come round. Bands have door anchors now.

I don't know if you could build a physique from scratch with bands, but once you've already built your mass, they're great tools.
          Imhof
Imhof, 23, was stretching with his teammates when a fragment of metal broke loose from the wall and struck him in the face, causing severe damage to his eye, a fracture of his nose and two broken orbital bones. He ultimately decided to have his eye removed, and it was replaced with a prosthetic.       YOU COULD LOSE AN EYE FROM THOSE THINGS.

Take care judochoke

I've never been big into those movements but the first set always makes my elbows sore in a bad way.

Bhanky had this same injury and still set a world record strict curl.

I tore my bicep right off the bone years ago
It was the start of many years of hell
Go see a surgeon asap and stop doing the worthless French press

French press is a good exercise.
People have been doing it for a hundred years.
Injuries happen.

so people get injured doing a 2lb rear delt cable fly or a 1lb pink weight shoulder circle? Or diaphragmatic breathing exercise? Or a seated 1lb hammer curl?

Sure, one can get injured doing any exercise.

That does not take away from the fact that some exercises are more riskier than others.

Tore my bicep tendon at the shoulder,  bicep rolled down my arm. Zero bruising or swelling. Had it repaired three weeks later. Surgery was a success, it's good as new.
