It has been my experience that machines that claim to do everything do not do anything well.

Go for TYTAX® T3-X.
https://www.tytax.com/en/products/t3x/

They have some crazy looking plates but yeah too big of a footprint too many gimmick exercises.

True I love the power racks look with functional, but I do think smith may be better lifetime investment. A separate functional and separate lat pull are also probably better but if high quality they might all work. Some stuff is junky looking though need to be careful the rep stuff looks high end but no smith same with rogue. Not sure who has the highest quality smith with functional and half rack for free squatting. I will still have my free weights as well.

It's great having a ton of options. I get it. My basement is filled with stuff. The reality is you can get just about everything out of this game with a minimum of equipment. How many guys of the past just had a barbell, squat racks and a bench?

If I ever down size my house to something like a beach condo I'm getting power blocks and their bench that includes a dipping/chin attachment. I can push it into a corner when not in use. With that I could do complete body routine with a ton of exercise options.

True!  My buddy lives in a tiny lake house, with a rack, some dumbbells, 2 Olympic sets (only, in a tiny front-porch space only 6-feet deep). He'd a 700 lb deadlifter w/ amazing physique.
Just bangs it out, gets shit down... I know others with amazing home gyms, who look like they've never entered them...

Exactly...it doesn`t matter what stuff you have,it`s all about putting in the work.

You can have all the best stuff just for show or bragging rights but if you train like a wuss or skip tons of workouts, why waste the cash?

Supposedly the integrated Smith Machine with the full cage and functional trainer/lat pull down low row is coming from Rep. I am not planning to buy until Summer so it may be out by then or I may wait if they announce it by then. I train hard but as you get older and have injuries cables and smith machines and safety bars have a place in addition to good old free weights.

Summer 2024 = Never

We are moving in the Summer. I am not going to have it assembled here then pay to move it. This will be for my new home. But yeah they are also still in the process of inventing the piece I want so no rush. I may get separate pieces I may get nothing and just go to a commercial gym sometimes but regardless I like looking at fitness equipment.

I suggest not getting these massive abominations of machines.

Waste of money.

Get a serviceable squat rack with a built in pullup bar.

A simple platform or sturdy flooring for doing deadlifts.

I have also considered that I have two independent squat stands I use now. However they are rickety and as such I wouldn't even consider going heavy on them. A simply cage takes up less space. Could just put in garage. But I do kind of like the idea of high end cables. The issue with functional attached to a rack is not enough stretch even the standalone functional trainers arms are too close. I have a cable cross now but plate loaded a selectible plate would be much nicer. But that is a lot of floorspace for a nice one and its like ok cables are great for delts triceps and crossovers but can you do a lat pull on a cable crossover? I really want a lat pull down

Also some stuff needs to go upstairs and some rogue stuff like their lat pull independent is fully assembled cant get it upstairs and around a corner into a room.
