Inflation is a primary contributor to this and the current inflation is Biden's fault.

I don’t know what to think about all of this. I’m paying my people 40% more than I was prior to covid and it’s still way over davis bacon wage. I see a lot of people who are lazy and complain and I see a lot of hard workers who are rewarded for it. Without knowing her personally, I have no way of knowing which side of that she falls on. I am however, seeing more people dropping applications looking for work, high means things are starting to get tight. I’m also seeing some of my small clients slow paying like the big boys, so I’m not sure what that means either. Got off track there. Inflation sucks and I’m sorry we all have to deal with this shit in Biden’s America.

I cannot speak to your employees, but I know personally my food bill has exploded the past couple years.  In fact, everything costs more.  This has to be adversely affecting a lot of people.

Bodybuilding related:  Could get an 11lb bag of myprotein for $55-60 bucks on sale a few years a go.

List price is now $180 and I haven't seen a sale for less than $10/lb now.

I donno, this is such a difficult thing to quantify.

On one hand, you have increasing costs that affect people with tight budgets and on the other hand you have people who just spend and manage their money poorly.

Nurses get paid pretty well.  Unless she is in California where making less than $100K is near poverty.

I have people in their 20's who work for me who have the newest iPhone, get a new tattoo every other month consistently have trouble paying their rent, and if their car breaks down it's practically the end of the world. In the meantime I had a iPhone 6 up until 2021 and have a 12 now lol.

As grocery prices have gone up I have adjusted in other places and haven't really felt inflation so much.

But a person who earns $50K in California really feels it when gas is at $5-6/gal and groceries go up 25%.
