I wouldn't be able to get that weight off the rack. If I did my spine and legs would disintegrate.
I have a friend that competes every year in powerlifting. He looks completely out of shape with a big gut. I don't see the point of specializing in three lifts. I don't think he could run a mile without having a heart attack. Personally I love seeing Olympic lifters. It's fast, athletic and they are some of the most impressive athletes anywhere. Outside of the super heavy weights for the most part they look like athletes.
