It sure appears that the men and women elite of cross fit are juicing hard. They train with an emphasis on the Olympic lifts and body weight stuff. Check out their workouts of the day that is timed. The thing with the timed events it leads to cheating the exercise to beat the clock. Their pullups become gymnastics kips. Their body weight squats become a flop into the eccentric portion of the squat to race the clock. I admire hard core cross fit trainers minus the obvious steroid use. It's hard core training. So many videos exist of beginner cross fit people looking laughable training but the elites are incredible. When a woman can clean and jerk 250lbs and run a good 400 meters that's impressive. Something the majority of the Olympia contestants couldn't do.
1) incorrect
2) versus the 2" range of motion gym-bros do for their pullups? Also, nothing wrong with dropping into the squat when in a race. Do you think water polo players have perfect freestyle swim stroke when getting down the pool during a match?
3) Poor coaching and poor trainee makes for any lifting to look stupid.
4) Majority? How about NONE of them.
