Odd machine, apparently he had NASA interested in it at one point -

"Roboflex is the company created to develop and market the Exo-trainer technology Lucian originally developed for NASA. The Exo-Trainer utilizes a mechanical system of robotic limbs that sit just outside the real limbs of a human body. Then the Exo-Trainer is used to simulate hundreds of discrete real world exercises with the ability to accurately control the movement and loads applied to the limbs and body while training. The Exo-Trainer has been use by professional and college athletes to improve sprinting speed, agility and flexibility. The system can also be used in highly efficient strength and cardiovascular conditioning as well as clinical-grade physical therapy. The technology is based on the bio-locomotion system of load bearing built into the human body and is the only exercise system in the world that is built around this."
