Honestly, that was such a fluke play it didn't bother me.

Rizzo's play at first was inexcusable, and cost the game.

If NY made two routine plays out of six between Game 1 and 5, they are up 3-2

Awful.

Players sometimes wear their gloves like that to get more range.

   gerrit cole should have covered first on that play, that being said if rizzo would have broken to the bag right away, they would have had the runner at first. one of the sloppiest innings ever in a world series game= 5 unearned runs in one inning.

Cole took a bad route on the grounder, thinking he could field it.  Is he culpable?  Yes, but Rizzo didn't even react.

AS well as some of there winds during the playoffs and ws worked out for them at times,all the big home runs and leads they had,it was all the miscues they made fielding 'sloppy'and all the baserunning blunders in the other series that made those  games too close to call.they should have scored a lot more runs in that reason alone.the dodgers offense carried them like the yankees ,there pitching was not great and bullpen was so so other than the guy that closed out 7yh and 8th forgot name..
