Really? Who would have thought? ;D

If drug use remains a federal crime, it makes little sense for states to decriminalize it. Governor Kotek came to the realization that decriminalizing drug use did not reduce its use or the deaths resulting from it. It is possible to focus on treatment for folks addicted to drugs and restore criminal penalties for drug possession.

Recreational use of Marijuana remains legal in Oregon for folks who are at least 21 years old. Thirty-eight states and the District of Columbia allow the medical use of cannabis products, and twenty-four plus the District of Columbia allow adults to use it recreationally. More states expect to legalize it next November. Marijuana remains illegal at the federal level.

And yet the current Vice President admitted to doing marijuana. The same thing she later prosecuted people for in San Francisco.

If Kamala prosecuted folks for using marijuana she did so because she was following the law at that time. Medical marijuana use was legalized in 1996. Recreational use was legalized in 2016. Vice President. Kamala Harris admitted to smoking and inhaling marijuana while in college. She was awarded her doctorate in 1989. In 1990 she was hired as a deputy district attorney in Alameda County, California. So, it would appear you are correct she smoked marijuana prior to being a district attorney which was when she prosecuted folks for marijuana use either for medical reasons or recreationally.

What is your point? Are you suggesting accepting the position of deputy district attorney, a position which required her to prosecute folks who broke the law she was a hypocrite? If so, get a life.  ::)
