Yes, 15 cents per serving has bankrupted many.

Which means for only 15 cents a day you can sponsor a weight lifter to give them the valuable nutrient they need.

Your thoughts on this. Trainer has been upping his dosage of creatine to 15G's per day and says its boosted his performance and says he feels younger. He says he has a very active lifestyle and feels that someone less active may not benefit. Would think he would bloaten up or look fat.

I think this is what Mike Ashley did when he competed as a natural.

Yes little reason to buy brand name products nowadays when you can get all the components much more cheaply separately. Lots of brands use ineffective amounts in their products as well. The biggest bitch with supplements is the amount of fraud going on, a lot of times you don't know what you're getting.

AKA "Proprietary Blends", usually with some cuckoo pseudo-scientific name. There are a handful of proprietary blends that actually list the quantity of each ingredient.

Exactly, I was going to mention the proprietary blends too. The reason given for using them is that other companies can't steal your fantastic formula but it's just an excuse for pixie dusting the expensive ingredients. Though I think they still have to list the ingredients 'in order of appearance' so to speak, highest first so you can get somewhat of a clue. Most outrageous example of a 'patented extract' I saw is an astragalus extract with supposed life extension benefits. It's an inexpensive herb but this one brand sells a few mg for like a thousand bucks a bottle without even telling you what it's standardized for.
