Depends on contract ,he would be most likely heavily penalized ,rich owners formulate contracts to benefit them not players   .Remember when Antonio Brown walked away from game and it was downhill since then ,broke AF.

Basketball is probably worse than baseball.

Have not watched basketball since early 2000's. tried watching it last year. Atrocious. Everything is  a foul. Run down the court, foul. Run down the other end of the court, foul and repeat.

They constantly shoot 3's when they aren't fouling. They seem to have 20 replays a half as well. On the few days I do watch I tune in with 5 minutes left in the game. It usually is still close and takes 30 minutes to finish the game.

It’s absolutely ridiculous. It’s like the game stops every few seconds. Way too frustrating to watch.
