its universally accepted that two contractions is a recession.

Its the most important number overall, what are you on about.

The things you highlighted point that out. That imports were up was because inflation is about to rocket. The government spent more this quarter then last quarter overall.
Trump added more than double the debt biden added (during his first term).

Its the first contraction in 3-4 years, its kind of a big deal.

First half of 2022 was a recession.

Legacy media ignored it.

I thought it was common knowledge. Most reports now indicate this as the first contraction since 2022 which would be correct. There might be retards who ignore it but its a fact

The first two quarters of 2020 were brutal, didnt realize how bad it was in fact. All that spending had a huge impact on inflation etc.

The only difference now is that it appears to be self-induced. Things were trucking along just fine if we are talking GDP and the reason for the contraction is policy, nothing else.

I would imagine that many countries experienced contactions during those previous quarters (2020 included) while most are still growing the US is reversing.

Nope, not at all. I’m saying it’s a clickbait headline without telling why. Therefore that’s all YOU will see without getting into the reason why the GDP wasn’t as predicted. Like I said, it’s actually a good report

Imports soared 41.3% for the quarter, driven by a 50.9% increase in goods. Imports subtract from GDP, so the contraction in growth may not be viewed as negatively given the potential for the trend to reverse in subsequent quarters. Imports took more than 5 percentage points off the headline reading.

Exports rose 1.8%

I almost forgot to point out that imports do not subtract from the GDP you clown, so your theory of what it would be without the adjustment for imports (aka a positive number) is retarded.

however, the data may actually turn out to be slightly better then the neg .3 once its hashed out.

Them frontrunning the coming inflation isnt good in anyway.

Yeah, from Qoach they all are.    :D :D :D

I mean, they teach this in 8th grade.  Unfortunately, the CT virus has wiped his mind all the way back to a 2nd grade standpoint.
